모차르트 한국콩쿨
모차르트한국콩쿨 is a program designed to overcome the limitations of performance abilities in the field of Korean music and provide an opportunity to pursue dreams on the international stage. It is the first performance competition of its kind in Korea, following in the footsteps of the "Sejong Concert Music Festival" organized by the Korean Association of Music Professors and the Sejong Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Korean Association of Music Professors, which serves as the Korean branch of the "Mozart International Competition" in Germany, has been working diligently to review designated pieces and competition procedures, with Kim Ha-ram, the executive director of the Sejong Philharmonic Orchestra, and other executive directors taking the lead. The first competition was held in November 2012, and it achieved good results at the Mozart International Competition in Germany in April 2014.
